FROM LEARNING TO EVERYDAY MEALS

Make low oxalate eating work for you.

Learning a new way of eating takes effort. You’re figuring out which foods to choose while also trying to plan meals, shop, and get dinner on the table. It can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already tired, not feeling well or short on time.

Maybe your meal plan looks good on paper, but the preparation takes longer than expected. Your family wants something different, you’re missing an ingredient, or a busy day leaves you without an easy option. Adapting favorite recipes and keeping meals interesting can add another layer of work.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Together, we’ll work through what’s getting in your way and choose manageable next steps, so you feel prepared for everyday meals and know what to do when plans change.

Know what to do next.

During your 45-minute call, we’ll focus on your most pressing questions and choose specific, practical next steps you feel ready to try. You’ll leave knowing what to do first and how to fit it into your routine.

  • 45-minute private Zoom session
  • Written session summary and agreed next steps
  • One-week email check-in
  • Included 15-minute follow-up call

MEET YOUR GUIDE

Hi, I’m Allie.

I’m the founder and recipe developer behind Low Oxalate Lifestyle. For nearly a decade, I’ve adapted meals around different dietary needs for myself and my husband. My background includes restaurant and bakery work, and I’m currently expanding my skills through a six-month culinary program.

Before creating this website, I co-founded and ran a software company for nine years. That experience taught me how to simplify complicated tasks and build clear, repeatable systems. I bring that same approach to everyday meals, shopping, and preparation.

My expertise is in making low oxalate eating work in everyday life, including when you’re tired, not feeling well, short on time, or your plans change. I’ll help you prepare for those moments and build practical routines you feel ready to follow. I was also invited onto The Dr. Oz Show to discuss my personal experience with digestive health.

Common questions

Do I need to be experienced with low oxalate eating?

You’re welcome wherever you are in the process. Whether you’re just getting started or have been eating low oxalate for a while, bring your questions and the everyday challenges you’d like help with. We’ll start there together.

Will you create a custom meal plan?

We can talk through meal ideas, relevant recipes, and ways to make planning easier for you. After our session, I’ll send you a written summary of what we discussed and the next steps we chose together. A full custom weekly menu isn’t included in this package, but you’ll have practical guidance to help you move forward.

What if I have other dietary requirements?

Please share those in your questionnaire, including any food allergies, dietary requirements, and preferences. I’ve spent years adapting meals around different dietary needs, and I understand how complicated it can feel. I’ll review what you share before we meet and let you know if there’s anything that would be better supported by another professional.

What if I struggle to put the guidance into practice?

That’s exactly why we have a follow-up. You don’t need to have everything figured out or done perfectly. Tell me what you tried and what felt difficult, and we’ll talk through ways to make your next steps more manageable.

Is this medical or nutrition treatment?

Our time together focuses on the everyday side of eating: cooking, shopping, preparation, and making meals work for your household. I share practical experience and food education. Your healthcare professional remains the person to help with medical questions, treatment, supplements, and whether a low oxalate diet is right for you.
